Back In Studio

Last night our good friend Larry Hogan called to put a fire under our collective asses.
We've been invited to record at the world-famous Windmill Lane in Dublin City.
Larry has kindly put us forward for some studio time - taking into account our limited finances - at one of the best recording studios in Europe.
We've only just started to demo up the new batch of songs but the opportunity to go there and record a fully produced track was too good to pass up. So we've selected the one song we have been playing for a couple of months, Kiss You Goodnight. It's a nice country ballad. Can't wait to hear how it sounds in that room!
In the last fortnight, as I said, we kicked rehearsals up a gear with a demo session in Cavan and a band rehearsal in Dublin.
The demo session was very productive and we got to try some nice guitar lines over some of my 8-track demos.
We made sure to visit a few of the local pubs after a long day's work too!
It was great to rehearse with the new arrivals a few days later too. The songs are shaping up really well.
It's really great for me to have John, Andy and Padraic back on the scene. There's a cool vibe about the band right now!
Declan had his first session and was genuinely awesome. I think SYTU fans will really like the new songs/line up.
We'll have pics and a video from our session in Windmill next week up as soon as we have them.
Safe to say we can't wait!

Chat soon,
Steve.
